Common questions about getting started, features, integrations, and pricing.

Getting Started

You can store a list there. MentorDeck is different because it reduces coordination burden and makes engagement visible. A spreadsheet holds data — MentorDeck runs the workflow: profiles, booking, tracking, and reporting all in one place.
Quickly. Start with your top mentors and one cohort. You don't need to migrate everything on day one. Most programs are up and running within a week, then expand as they see results.
Lists are static. MentorDeck is a workflow. A list tells you who's available — MentorDeck lets mentees find the right person, book directly, and gives you visibility into what actually happened.
No. MentorDeck works for VC platform teams, universities, economic development organizations, and any community or ecosystem program that manages mentor relationships.
That's the recommended path. Start with one cohort, validate the workflow, and expand over time. There's no pressure to onboard everyone at once.

Adoption & Usage

Mentors love it because it's lightweight. They create a simple profile once, optionally connect their calendar, and only take meetings when they choose. There's no required login or mandatory activity.
No. Mentors keep their existing habits — Calendly, Google Calendar, Zoom, whatever they use. MentorDeck plugs into those tools rather than replacing them.
Participants self-serve via tagged, searchable profiles. Instead of emailing a program manager who then matches and introduces, mentees browse the directory, read bios, and book directly.
Keep them lightweight. Start with minimum viable information — a short bio, expertise tags, and availability. The less you ask mentors to maintain, the more current profiles stay.
Tags and searchable profiles reduce the guesswork significantly. Mentees can filter by expertise, industry, or topic. The directory design surfaces the right mentor without needing a human matchmaker.

Yes. You get visibility into mentor activity so you can spot who's overbooked and balance the load. Mentors can also control their own availability to avoid burnout.

Data & Reporting

Meetings logged, engagement rates, which features are being used, and exportable data for stakeholder reporting. You get a real picture of program activity — not just a meeting count.
Engagement is visible end-to-end: meetings booked, feedback submitted, mentor activity levels. You can export data for board reports, grant applications, or investor updates.
Yes. MentorDeck includes follow-up feedback flows so you can collect structured input after sessions and use it to improve your program over time.
